The final NWA Rampage Pro Wrestling show for 2011 is at 2PM this Sunday, 12-18-11 at Johnny G's in Warner Robins, GA, and will feature a NWA World Heavyweight Title defense.
The NWA World Heavyweight Title has been the most prestigious title in professional wrestling for over 60 years Such legendary champions as Lou Thesz, Dory Funk, Jr, Terry Funk, Harley Race, Jack Brisco, Dusty Rhodes, and Ric Flair defended the title all over the World. On Sunday, December, 18, the four time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce defends the "10 pounds of gold" against Kyle Matthews, the winner of the 12-4 Rampage Rumble. This match, like many of history's great title defenses will have a 60 minute time limit and be 2 out of 3 falls. No wrestling fan should miss this historic NWA World Heavyweight Title match.
NWA RPW Heavyweight Champion, "Untouchable" Jeremy Vain, will have his hands full when he defends his title against one half of the 2 time NWA RPW Tag Champions and former NWA World Tag Team Champion, AJ Steele.
"The Priest Of Punishment" Mikael Judas returns to NWA RPW to face the challenge of "Hit For Hire" Bobby Moore managed by Charlie Cash. Moore is one half of the current NWA RPW Tag Team Champions with Rob Adonis who will also be in the building although not currently scheduled for a match.
Jimmy Rave had been fined and warned about his recent behavior. Rave ignored the warning and on December 4 cut the hair of referee Dustin Robinson, with whom Rave had long standing issues, and wanted to do the same to ring announcer Miss Allie for reasons unknown. Rave was suspended indefinitely by order of NWA RPW G/M Dr. Gayton. So on Sunday the Jimmy Rave Approved team of Mike Posey, Chip Day & Corey Hollis are on their own when they face Drew Adler, Anthony Henry & NWA RPW TV Champion, Frankie Valentine.
"Hot Like Lava", Shawn Banks & Cru Jones have a major challenge in store for them as the face NWA RPW's only triple crown champion, J Rod and his partner, the NWA Southern Champion, Ace Rockwell.
Recent NWA RPW shows have seen regular appearances of a long haired fan who frequently got involved in the matches of "Marvelous" Michael Stevens & "Adorable" Anthony Andrews, and just as frequently was escorted from the building by RPW security. Well in the Rampage Rumble on December 4, a Ninja eliminated Stevens and Andrews and was revealed to be the long haired fan whose name we've learned is Jesco Blue. It appears Mr. Blue has been cleared to wrestle, so the Sunday he and his partner, "Officer" Chris Jacobs will face Stevens & Andrews in tag team competition.
As a warm up to his scheduled NWA RPW Heavyweight Title match AJ Steele with his tag team partner Murder 1, The Usual Suspects, will face the newest team in RPW, CB Gibson & Tommy Daniels in the opening match on the card. The Suspects are #1 contenders to the NWA RPW Tag Team Titles so this is an opportunity for Gibson & Daniels to make a name for themselves, but The Usual Suspects are not known for making that an easy thing to do.
