NWA Anarchy TV Report
Episode 80
September 10, 2007
WRESTLING: (n.) \’res-ling\ A sport of contest in which two individuals face off in unarmed combat.
ANARCHY: (n.) \an-ar-key\ (1) A state of lawlessness due to absence of authority. (2) A complete lack of order.
What happens when you mix the two together? NWA-Anarchy!
- Last week on Anarchy TV, Jeremy Vain defended the NWA Anarchy TV Title against Truitt Fields. Vain slithered his way to a draw, thus furthering Fields’ frustrations with the Untouchable. Also, Patrick Bentley turned on Slim J and joined forces with the Reverend Dan Wilson.
- Hunter recaps the events of Hostile Environment including the NWA Elite outlasting the Devil’s Rejects in War Games. Johnson has something was screwy about Patrick Bentley and he was right beyond belief. Also, the Awesome Attraction retained the NWA Anarchy Tag Team Titles in an incredible ladder match with full of insane bumps. This week, we begin a tournament to determine number one contenders to the tag titles.
- Tony Santerelli enters the NWA Arena from the backstage and commandeers the microphone. He greets Jerry Palmer in mid ring. Tony antagonizes Palmer by reminding him he was trained by Shawn Michaels and Dave Taylor. Palmer doesn’t appreciate Tony calling the Arena a broken down barn. Tony exclaims, “Calling me anything but a winner, well, that’s like a breast without a nipple, it’s just not right.” Tony demands Palmer tell him when his match is going to be. Palmer says no way and tells Tony he isn’t good enough to wrestle in his ring. Palmer immediately calls for security to remove the ingrate from the premises.
1. The World’s Prettiest Tag Team (Seth Delay & Adrian Hawkins) defeated Sex & Money (Andrew Pendleton III & Kaleb Konley)
This match is certainly a battle between a foursome of International Lover Boys. WHOO! TWPTT takes over and Delay lands a beautiful Ric Flair kneedrop. WHOO! Konley escapes a Delay suplex, school boys him and tags in to Pendleton. Pendleton goes buck wild on Delay, who makes a blind tag to Hawkins. Hawkins wipes him out with the Unprettier. Hawkins makes the cover, but Pendleton’s foot was on the rope. Instead of hooking the trunks, a light bulb goes off in Hawkins’ head, he folds up Pendleton for the pinfall victory.
2. Truitt Fields pinned Rob Adonis w/Jeremy Vain.
Vain joins our favorite announcers on commentary. The crowd rallies behind Truitt early on by chanting his name. As expected, Johnson joins Vain in lambasting Greg Hunter. Truitt dazzles Adonis early on with his amazing strength. Truitt sneaks in a body slam for a one count. Adonis slithers to ringside, but Truitt wipes him out with a slingshot cross body. Johnson calls Vain a humble man and hands him bottled water. Adonis finally gains the advantage with the spinebuster. Adonis connects with a nice vertical suplex to score a two count. Johnson admits that he can peal potatoes, but fails to answer Konnan’s question about tossing salad. After commercial, Fields escapes a chinlock and scores a two count with a leaping forearm smash. Adonis takes back over with a side backbreaker as Johnson mentions you only receive one chance at the Super Bowl. That’s true unless you’re the Buffalo Bills, then you get four chances. Then, Vain calls Truitt the Bufalo Bills of professional wrestling. Damn, I’m good. Adonis delivers a nice back suplex, but plays around too much. Adonis continues to display his power with an overhead belly to belly for another near fall. Johnson suggests Vain give Adonis a title shot, but Vain sidesteps him. Truitt lands a series of forearms and shoulderblocks. Vain sees his battleship seeking and interjects himself after a Truitt spinning neckbreaker. Truitt nails Vain and finishes off Adonis with the Killing Fields. Afterwards, Vain gains a measure of revenge with the VDT ’06. This was a decent match that lasted 2 – 3 minutes too long. Again, the announcing crew covered storyline basis by stating Adonis is an enforcer for Vain.
3. Hollywood Brunettes (“2 Hot for TV” Kyle Matthews & “the Wizard of Ahz” Andrew Alexander) defeated Derek Driver & Steven Walters.
Driver & Walters execute a double team Gori Special into a neckbreaker for a near fall. Walters goes for the pin and the Brunettes catch with off guard with a spinning neckbreaker. They dominate Walters including executing a double team Electric Chair senton for a near fall. Great. Walter nails Matthews with a massive desperation powerbomb and escapes to make the hot tag to Driver. Matthews turns Driver celibate and puts him away with the Shini Curse.
- Jeff G Bailey wants everyone to worship the conquering heroes after they vanquished the Devil’s Rejects. Bailey relishes the Elite destroying the Rejects. He has a prayer request for the Reverend. Bailey brags about the Human Holocaust and the Universal Soldier crippling the Rejects. Yep, the Being of Inconceivable Horror, the 600 pound monster who ate Abdullah the Butcher whole (I made that part up) and defeated Mr. Pogo in a Japanese death match bloodletting competition, tapped out to Phil Shatter. Bailey acknowledges Jeff Lewis and turns his attention back to Shatter. Shatter had a Fallujah Flashback and wanted to remove Iceberg’s head as a trophy. That’s okay even if he didn’t deliver the trophy because Iceberg suffered a tracheotomy. Now, it’s time to conquer every championship in NWA Anarchy: the Awesome Attraction, Chad Parham and Jeremy Vain. They will now follow Shatter’s mantra: “Hatred is purity and weakness is disease.” As they exit, Lewis momentarily confronts Bailey.
4. Anger Alliance (Brandon Phoenix & Don Matthews) w/Brody Ray Chase Urban Assault Squad (Nemesis & Shadow Jackson)
Johnson has come to the Revelation that the Anger Alliance are emulating the Jackson 5. An incensed Hunter calls Johnson a blooming moron. Johnson looses that battle and bloviates that AA emulates Devastation Incorporated, but Hunter fires back. Sure thing, Brody Ray Chase looks like General Skandar Akbar. Sigh. Cyclops is back to full strength and aids his partner in stiffing Phoenix. Nemesis lights up Matthews’ chest with a series of brutal chops. Matthews rakes his eyes, lands several chops and connects with the BFK for a two count on Nemesis. Phoenix nails Nemesis with a T-bone suplex. After commercial, AA continues to get heat on Nemesis. Johnson believes he could become a millionaire if he was a referee. Hunter reminds Johnson that he was a referee, but he didn’t report his income to the IRS. Shadow Jackson rallies the crowd as Matthews sets up for the Lariat of Doom. Nemesis ducks and lands a diving headbutt. Johnson insinuates Nemesis had a steal plate surgically put in his head. Jackson receives the hot tag and backdrops Matthews to the floor. Brody Ray trips up Shadow and holds him. Shadow ducks, rams Phoenix into Brody Ray and wins with the belly to belly suplex. It looks like UAS might receive their tag title match with the Awesome Attraction.
