Welcome to Independent Wrestling’s Only TV Report without MERITT~!
WRESTLING: (n.) \’res-ling\ A sport of contest in which two individuals face off in unarmed combat.
ANARCHY: (n.) \an-ar-key\ (1) A state of lawlessness due to absence of authority. (2) A complete lack of order.
What happens when you mix the two together? NWA-Anarchy!
- Welcome to the Fright Night 2007 Recap Edition of NWA Anarchy TV.
- The Urban Assault Squad won the finals of the Mysterious Benefactor Tournament. The UAS turned the Anger Alliance’s tomfoolery against them and eventually pinned the Hollywood Blondes with a potent spinebuster to win a future NWA Anarchy Tag Team Title shot.
- Todd Sexton & Wes Grissom locked up horns with Tony Santarelli & Melissa Coates. The match ended when Santarelli eludes a shooting star press and finished of Grissom with his submission combination. Afterwards, Sexton consoled Grissom before booting him in the mush. John Johnson was right in his assertion that Sexton was a jerk. The fans chant “that was wrong” as Sexton rips apart Grissom’s T-shirt.
- Up next in the highlight reel is the first blood match between Kory Chavis and Jeff Lewis. The announcers argue whether Jeff G Bailey wiped blood off Chavis’s head. Bailey tosses Chavis a roll of quarters and distracts the referee. This provides the Soul Assassin enough time to bloody Lewis with it.
- The Feature Presentation was guaranteed fame, money and wealth when he entered the Elite. However, it was never about Jeff Lewis, it was all about protecting Jeff G Bailey’s slimy carcass. Then they fought Bailey’s war with the Devil’s Rejects after he disagreed with Dan Wilson. Lewis reminds Bailey that he appreciated nobody’s sacrifice at War Games. He promises to deliver Bailey’s Final Curtain. Not bad at all.
- The Reverend Dan Wilson & the Devil’s Rejects have ordered the execution of Slim J & Adrian Hawkins because it’s Fright Night 2007 and the Rejects always stand tall at Fright Night. There is a conspiracy because the Holiest of Holidays is supposed to be in October. (Great shoot.) It will be Christmas in July for the Rejects. No DQ is awesome for the Rejects. They have the grandest of all celebrations lined up once the feast comes and Slim J’s head will be the centerpiece while Hawkins will be the throw rug. Hawkins should climb a ladder and bring Jesus Christ himself to be his six man partner because that’s the only way he will survive. (Damn that was line and a half.) When the celebration ends, the Rejects will run everybody’s lives.
- The Street Fight pitted the Rejects against Slim J & Adrian Hawkins & Ace Rockwell. The Rejects end up superbombing Rockwell through a table, delivering the Hellhammer to Adrian Hawkins and Bentley crushing Slim J’s skull with the Dark Driver. The Reverend looked like Nostradamus in his prediction of pure annihilation.
- The Urban Assault Squad faced off with the NWA Anarchy Tag Team Champions the Awesome Attraction. Nemesis actions backfired on him and the Attraction end up putting him away. Afterwards, Nemesis instigates a near fight with Nemesis. The crowd rallies behind Shadow as he holds back his temper. Shadow motions for a hug and Nemesis obliges.
- John Johnson awards the former two time NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Champion Chad Parham the Certificate of Awesomeness. (Greg Hunter is awesome on commentary here.) Parham decides he doesn’t want to thank his friends, family and God, but he thanks himself for building the foundation of the NWA Arena. Johnson consoles a crying Parham. (Note how awesome Hunter’s selling is here.) Yes, Parham will leave on top and the champ that he is. Johnson raises Parham’s arm in victory. Parham wants everybody to chant “Chad’s a legend” as he exits the NWA Arena.
1. Truitt “the Master of the Mulligan & the Contra Code” Fields defeated Jeremy Vain w/Mr. Rob Adonis in a fans leather strap match to capture the new NWA Anarchy TV Title.
LINE OF THE YEAR: John Johnson reciting the Contra Code. Well, it does seem like that Truitt Fields has received about 30 rematches with Vain. Anyways, Vain takes multiple lashing before taking over with the superkick. Vain dominates for several minutes until Fields flips him over with a clothesline. Vain connects with the VDT when Mr. Adonis distracts Fields. Vain makes the cover, but Fields kicks out at two. Mr. Adonis interjects himself and Jerry Palmer greets him with the Ace Crusher aka Stunner. Vain picks up the strap Mr. Adonis dropped and whips Fields with it. Fields Hulks up and Vain seeks refuge. Fields connects with a huge hiptoss and high backdrop. Vain fights off the Killing Fields and sets up for the VKO, but Fields blocks it and wins with the Killing Fields. This was a good payoff to a feud that seemed to last forever.
- Jeff G Bailey has something to explain to Mikal Judas. Never a name like Judas has ever fit a man. Judas became a superstar in Puerto Rico and returned a painted up freak. Judas was a failure and was discarded like rubbish. Bailey cries because Judas pulled the same tactics the NWA Elite is known for. Well, the Universal Soldier is King Kong with a Chainsaw, Godzilla with a Bazooka and every other monster in the Godzilla universe combined with an exploding nuclear bomb. While Judas was painting his pretty little sunshine face, NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Champion Phil Shatter was having flashbacks to Fallujah where he slaughtered numerous infidels. Yep, Judas might be beheaded by Shatter. Now, that’s an interview.
- Jeff G Bailey calls for the troops after Judas chokeslams Shatter to score a visual three count. Abomination hits the ring and answers the Final Solution tree slam to Judas. Bailey wakes the referee Brent Wiley to make the count, but Judas kicks out at 2.999999999. Shatter finally puts Judas away with a pair of PTSD powerbombs for the victory. Afterwards, Judas plays the Undertaker and rises while Dominous lures Abomination out the front door. Judas follows suit and seeks to destroy Abomination. With Judas gone, security floods the ring when “Professional Wrestling’s Only Serial Killer” Iceberg confronts Shatter.
OVERALL: Check out the great interviews on the show.
